Ever since we got our first Philips Hue starter pack, we were excited about the amazing effects and moods the lights could create in our home. However, the options given by the official Philips Hue app did not really do the lights any justice, especially with regards to dynamic scenes or experiences. Not only that, there were no decent and stable Philips Hue apps for Windows, Xbox One or Windows Mobile.

We thought long and hard and came up with the concept for hueDynamic, an app to boost your Philips Hue experience to the next level. Originally focussing on dynamic lighting, with stereo sound, we wanted to go beyond static scenes to really give you fully immersive experiences. Whether you want to spa it up with Hue lights in your bathroom, travel to the Italian Lakes, or cuddle up to the roaring fireplace, hueDynamic has the experience for you.

Advanced Group and Room Support

hueDynamic allows you to create any group of lights you want, and even include the same light in multiple groups (something not supported by the official Philips Hue app). You can run different experiences and ambiences on each of your groups, all simultaneously from the same instance of the application. The app provides a convenient “status” page to allow you to adjust brightness and control your lights from one easy location in the app.

Experience Gallery

The experiences gallery allows easy access to the dynamic presets within the app. You can also adjust the volume of the sounds, change the brightness of the dynamic effects and even speed up or slow them down. This is all accomplished using simple sliders which are quickly accessible. No digging around in menus!

We Don’t Like In-app Purchases for Scenes

Unlike some “other” apps, we don’t charge extra when we bring out new ambiences and experiences. It not something we agree with or will ever start doing. We were amazed to see the cheek of some developers, charging for a few extra scenes that you can’t even try before you buy. With hueDynamic, you buy once and enjoy forever!
